ABOUT THE AUTHOR

 

Lillie Barnett Evans is a novelist, playwright and award-winning storyteller who regularly appears in libraries, schools, churches, and various other venues across the country.  Her first novel, And All the People Said... is a romantic/suspense thriller.  She has written several feature articles for newspaper and magazine publications.  As a playwright her works include the Christian-oriented plays, Is God Calling My Name?,  North Star, and The Body of Christ.  Through her company, Skye Writing Enterprises, she is available as a speaker and workshop facilitator.  She holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from the Indiana Institute of Technology .  She is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana where she lives and works as a corporate manager.  Grandmothers, Incorporated is her first collaborative effort.

Crystal Rhodes is a novelist, as well as an award-winning playwright.  Her plays have been produced in theatres across the United States.  Her first novel, Sin, received critical acclaim and her second novel, Sweet Sacrifice, was nominated for the Romance in Color Reviewer's Choice Award as Romance Suspense book of the Year.  Her next two novels, Sinful Intentions and Singing a Song... were selected as reads by the Black Expressions Book Club.
